The Approved Workshop Scheme recommends that your tyres are replaced after every five years of use and no later than seven years from the date of manufacture. This is in accordance with the British Tyre Manufacturers Association (BTMA) guidelines.
However, if your tyres are worn or damaged, they must be replaced immediately.
